Since someone invented art and wrote the Bible, artists have painted the truths found there. Mary Magdalene went to the tomb with another Mary (Matthew 28:1) to find Jesus gone. This powerful moment inspired artist after artist. The above lists no painter anywhere that I can find.
I have a dispute with artists. They lose the publicity that might inspire the public to buy their work because, too often, their identity remains a mystery. Artists, like everyone else, are worthy of their hire.
