On September, Malita Dietrick agreed to beta read. She provided an intelligent, tactful, and careful read in one week.
As well as careful editing, Malita saved me embarrassment. In one instance, the character's family expanded from three to twelve. I don't know who called as I wrote that sentence. She couldn't find the other nine. A chapter needs to move, and one character didn't have a name. I wrote (name) intending to go in and name him later.
This week I joined Critique Corner. One member of Clean Indie Reads (Facebook) recommended them.
What new changes lurk there?
And reviewers may find more. Thankfully eBooks sell one at a time. Nothing is undoable. The original ten versions may expand to eleven or twelve.
Whose idea was this? As Martha's Sister took shape, I thought God gave it to me. Now I cling to faith that it came from him. I have never worked harder. Phrases and plot twists poured out of my fingers as though from him--too clever to come from me.
Time will verify or deny his guidance. Prophesy sometimes isn't prophesy.
